I've had a keen interest in exploring the timeless teachings of yoga and meditation since young adulthood. My hope is to share these teachings to help cultivate more compassion and understanding for ourselves and others.
I have been a registered yoga teacher since 2002. My yoga teaching focuses on mindful yoga encouraging students to connect with their bodies and hearts in the present moment.
I am a certified Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction teacher through Brown University Mindfulness Center. The rigorous training to become a certified MBSR teacher has led to a solid foundation of understanding and implementation of a mindfulness curriculum that promotes overall health and well-being.
I teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction courses in the greater Salt Lake area. Primarily teaching MBSR courses for non-profit organizations with the intention of supporting the people who support vulnerable and/or marginalized populations.
I am an adjunct faculty at Salt Lake Community College where I teach Meditation classes. It is a great joy for me to teach college students.
I also offer group yoga classes and workshops on an on going basis in Salt Lake City .
Mindfulness, meditation and yoga have been the foundation of my training and life for over 20 years.
